Outdoor Foodies Animation
Project Name:
What I did:
+ Art Direction
+ Illustration
+ Animation
For the visual treatment of the project, they asked for it to have the essence of Japanese minimalism but also showing a bit of grit and feel of the outdoors with some textured shadows over the elements.
They wanted the main morphing elements to represent what their content is about, and so we chose to work with turning a gas stove's flames into a set of pine trees that then meltdown into a warm bowl of ramen.
Watch some of Outdoor Foodies adventure's here. :)
A quick morphing frame-by-frame animation for the travel & food channel of Outdoor Foodies where they share their outdoor adventures of cooking in the wilderness. Their really well produced videos are about travel, outdoor lifestyle, and different recipes that even in the great outdoors you can create yourself.

this was a project I really chased at and was happy to have worked on. despite it being challenging learning to animate how fire dances and animating the flames morphing into trees. This is a project I genuinely enjoyed having to put a lot of hours in.

a couple of bts for the process of creating the Outdoor Foodies Channel Intro Animation!
